Arindhum ariyaamalum - refreshing flick

The movie should be given some credit after all. The camera/colors were great. The director has made the twists and turns in the story, hard to guess. This two hour flick may not be one of the best movies ever, but is a refreshing piece. You can go in and can come out with no hard feelings against the director(Vishnuvardhan) or music director (Yuvan Shankar Raja) or the cameraman..

Story:

Satya (sorry I dont know the actor’s name - he played hero in JaiRam) is an orphaned kid, who is brought up by his grandfather (a pious, orthodox brahmin in a village). He leaves to chennai to study his engineering. Here Krishna provides you some comic relief. Satya meets a Sandhya a beautiful girl (hee hee), he had seen at his village earlier (that had resulted in a song sequence :))

At chennai Satya is drawn into a turmoil involving Aadhinarayanan(Prakash Raj) and his son Kutti ( who more than excels in th stunt sequences) when kutti inadvertently shoots heroine Sandhya in the leg. Aadhinarayanan who is about to kill Satya - a witness in a case against kutti is shocked to learn tat Satya is his son. Theres a bit of flashback here, where Aadhi’s wife goes off to live with her father, not liking Aadhi’s henchman job.

And from this the story takes a comedy twist, with Aadhi and kutti trying to please Satya to convince him to live with them..

Surprisingly the rest of the movie is also worth watching ...
