Hi everyone at MS......
it was friday night and I had no idea as to what to do.......my brother and his friends call me for this movie which released a week back....Arindum Ariyamalum.....to be honest I went to the movie expecting it to be a total bore, but I was really surprised at the end of the movie......it was one of the most decent movies I had seen in the recent past.....
Directed by VISHNUVARDHAN, the movie stars ARYA, SHAMISHKA (am sorry if I have got the name of the heroine wrong), PRAKASHRAJ and NAVDEEP.....
The movie starts of with Satya(played by Navdeep) getting admission into an engineering college in Chennai.....with difficulty he gets the permission of his grandfather to go to Chennai and study.....By the way the story shows that Satya is orphaned in the beginning of the movie......
Hero packs his bags and arrives at Chennai where he meets Sandhya (Shamishka) who is his college mate.....The action starts when Sandhya is shot by mistake in the leg by Kutty (Arya)......Satya gives a written complaint against kutty and wants.......
Enters Prakashraj who wants to eliminate any evidence that will do harm to hs son Kutty, so he decides to kill Satya.....Just when he is about to kill Satya he finds out that Satya is his son.......To know how watch the movie....
The second half of the movie is how Prakashraj and Kutty win the love of Satya.....Comical at times and also a good dose of sentiment
THE CAST:
PRAKASHRAJ - He is his usual self, amazing screen presence and I would say that he carries the movie on his shoulders...
ARYA - He looks really good in all the fight sequences, not a bad dancer and he has played a very good role in the movie......his reactions are good and so is his screen presence.....An actor to be watched out for future....
NAVDEEP - He certainly has done a better job than hs previous movie Jayaram....he looks matured and is also comfortable with his dance movements....
SHAMISHKA - Looks cute through out the movie and stunning in the song sequences.....not much of a role for her, but she has carried herself well in the movie.....No complaints
Good music, stunts make this movie worth watching...the story lin maybe a bit sore but its better than a lot of movies that have released in the recent past......stunning camera work for all the songs.....
on the whole not a classic but not a total waste.....Go watch it if you have time to spare....
