Well if you are fond of a company in disarray, this is the company to work for. The entire management is a sham and guided by secretive doctrine enforced by its senior level management. Periodically, you will be in scanner of incompetent’ managers who are so insecure about their jobs (after worked for years in the company) that any hint of you outperforming your peers will be met with strict opposition in various team or management meetings. They would gang up and pounce on you.
Worse - you could be shown door without any ample proofs or made to resign. The family owners of the company (sitting comfortably in US) are only interested in reaping the profits ($$$) while you continue to toil, surrounded by selfish-back stabbing managers. No wonder the company is going downhill. People posting +plus here are either - too young in the compay or have adopted the a$$licking culture of the company.
In IT, people make or break the company and this company has failed miserably in people-care business.
Before you join - make sure you have enquired about the number (and quality) employees that have been laid off or resigned in recent months. You will be shocked. Also make sure you have the revenue figures for the company (past 2-3 years).
Other issues - Obsolete technology (12-15 yrs old), Horrendous HR (no clue about employees problems, you would be sending hundreds of mails to remind them of their duty), Dummy technology leaders - have no clue about trends, Biased annual appraisal, Outsourcing of jobs and large reduction in workforce
Finally, if you like clean toilet, this is definitely not the office for you. Its stinking..with urine flooring the floor everywhere.
