This movie was involved in many controversies regarding its contents, but indeed it is a pure love story with a bold story line and a strong social message.This is a story of Arjun reddy who is a medico who is extremely brilliant but he is alcoholic and has anger issues and Preeti shetty who is his junior in college is a simple and sweet girl.Preeti’s father asks Arjun to take care if his daughter as he is a family friend. Arjun Reddy falls in live with her the moment he sees her and is very caring , possessive and does not let even a single tear drop from his girl’s eye.One day Preeti’s father sees them when they were in their private space and insults Arjun Reddy on the basis of caste and status, he gets his daughter married to someone else.Arjun being alcoholic and hospitalised could not stop her marriage.The moment Arjun knows that his girlfriend is married he runs to her place to meet her but she doesn’t talk to him because of her father’s pressure.This leads to their separation abd Arjun becomes even more alcoholic and drug addict, he also tries to find other girls but he cannot as he cannot imagine any other girl except preeti. Finally he meets Preeti in a park and she is pregnant this time, seeing that she is not happy he asks her to come with him and he will take care of the rest of the things, but he doesn’t know that the baby is his. without knowing that also he is ready to become the father and accept preeti with the baby. hat’s off.but at the end preeti reveals that the baby was his and she did not let her husband touch her little finger also.So, finally both of them meet and its a happy ending.Things to learn from this movie1.
