An update to my original feedback below. I visited Aroma recently. The place looked deserted for peak lunch time and I was expecting the worst. But I was pleasently surprised when the food was served. It was piping hot and the chicken was delicious. I am glad it has turned the corner. Kudos to Abhishek. I am sure it will again get bustling with activity like the old days. Best of Luck!!!
I work in Sector 14 and am (was?) a regular at Aroma. A couple of friends and I love to have a good chicken dish occasionally and Aroma was THE place to go. If you reached around 12:30 ~ 12:45, the place was not too occupied and you would be served in a jiffy. The prices too were quite reasonable and the quality was good (atleast the non-veg was). We have had a number of our office parties at the place. In fact I booked the place to celebrate my daughters first birthday.
A few months back they flirted with the buffet. It was priced at about Rs 200 + and was a bit expensive by Aroma standards. Still as long as the food was good....But then the quality started taking a turn for the worse. Probably they opened a new restaurant and moved the staff to the newer place, probably the cook quit for a lucrative offer. Whatever be the reason, it is no longer the place it used to be. Last time we went there was a few months back and we have no plans of re-visiting anytime soon. Hope they mend their ways and wean new patrons. I have many a fond memories of the place.
