I know, I know, the picture of the book shows Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code, which just goes to show what little research the people at Mouthshut.com do. But forget about them, this review will give you everything you need to know about buying the Artemis Fowl series. So far there are six of them (yes all you gaspers in India, there are now six of them.) :-
*Artemis Fowl
*This book was one of the best books by Eoin (Owen) Colfer. (author of Artemis Fowl)wher the basic characters are formed, with the all-famous criminal mastermind, Artemis Fowl. I enjoyed this book a lot a recomend it to all book lovers. It does get boring, though.
*Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident
My favourite Artemis Fowl and the best in the series, but, even here the boringest parts are located throughout the book, it displays artemis criminal heart softening a bit, as he struggles to rescue his long-lost father. This book also includes a new criminal mastermind, and shes not on the same side as Artemis Fowl...
*Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code
This is the most gripping in the Artemis Fowl series, and the first to have a human villian...
But the book has its sad parts, with the near-death of Artemis bodyguard. A thrilling adventure.
*Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception
This book really brings in the weep factor at times, but is extremly entertaining at others. An old enemy is creatively brought back to life, thirsty for revenge. I think this was the last, great Artemis Fowl book, because in it, a main character dies and that really extinguishes the liveliness of the next book.
*Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony
*The worst in the Artemis Fowl series, half the time I didnt really understand what was happening. The introduction of demons and warlocks didnt do the book much good, either. And what the heck was the lost colony? Nonetheless, a nice book.
*Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox
*Only released in America, so I have no idea what it is about. if youve read the book, then email me the facts at sarkarkids@yahoo.com
Listed below are some other books by Eoin Colfer.
*The Artemis Fowl Files
*Contains puzzles, games and the general supernatural stuff. Also, contains two short stories that are also sold seperately. The Seventh Dwarf and LEPrecon.
*The Wish List
*The first book of Colfers starring a girl. A brand new creative concept, and an excellent idea are brought together to make this great book.
*The Supernaturalist
*The worst book by Eoin Colfer. Bland, boring and... stupid. this is the only book by Eoin Colfer that I dont recommend. Using the whole future thing just made it worse.
...and thats it.
for now...
