I was customer of Artha from last 4 years and I was renew’ing every year but hardly used it as I was postening for one or the other reason. I started by paying 3500 and the end of 4th year I started renewing by paying 9999/-. The reason for paying that much is that they claimed that they added few more locations and unlimited medical checkups. As I didn’t use nor had any bad experience, I paid it using my Credit card. All went well till now.
Couple of months later, I got a call from Artha asking why I have not made any payment for couple of months. When I asked why, they told it is because I have taken some gold membership or something of that kind and membership value is around 1lakh. After arguing and providing all the details for close to an hour. We came to an agreement that I am going to pay another 22, 000 rupees and in lieu get some additional 6 days manali holiday package.(Not sure why I did this mistake). Couple of months passed, but I didn’t get my holiday vouchers. When I called them to check about this, they told I have requested to cancel this membership. I argued I have already made payment of 22K, but one thing. It doesn’t make sense in talking to these people as they only talk bullshit and they never listen to you.
Lot of things happened and I followed up for close to 2 weeks, nothing much changed but I lost almost close to 35K. One request to all, NEVER EVER GO WITH THESE PRODUCTS OR WITH ARTHA
