I moved from Bangalore to Chennai. My experience with Arya was terrible. These people are cheap and cheats. Their quotation and billing is fake. I got quotation from one of their representatives called Devi Singh. They charged 24k excl insurance and tax which was another 10k.
Insurance was 7k. On the day of shifting, everything was going fine. When he made the bill of 34k, I told him that since Insurance is optional I wont pay for it. He was adamant and kept on forcing us to pay. I found something fishy as goods are mine and so is risk then why his mind fixed on insurance.
Somehow the goods went in the night and next day morning he kept on calling us and threatened that our goods won’t reach us and he will through the goods somewhere unless and until we pay for insurance. We were shocked at his behaviour. We went to police and tried to get our goods. We were successful but in this process he escaped the responsibility of unpacking them. We had to pay extra to some local people.
Later we came to know that he was insisting on insurance since that amount he was supposed to pay to transporter which was outsourced. Moreover, he was denying getting paid through cheque to avoid paying tax.
So please stay away from these cheaters.
