Arzoo hai kya, jaan lena???

Hi, bharathi here!!!

This wonderful serial, Arzoo Hai Tu...came to an end a few weeks ago. And what a serial it was...my god!!! The cast included good and well known actors...Aman Verma, Mohnish Behl, that son pari serial’s fairy...(I don’t know her name...:-((...) So that got me, a bit interested in the serial. But inspite of such good ppl around, the serial dint live up to my expectations...

The story is...well, I didn’t make much out of watching it...but I suppose, it goes something like this... A rich businessman, Akash (Mohnish Behl), who’s come up the hard way, lives with his 2 brothers, their wives, mom and granny. Though he’s the eldest one, he stays unmarried...till his granny and mom decide its enough and finalize a match, Neethi...none other then, our own dear son pari...(her name???)

Now, the good son, he is, Akash agrees. All’s well, till Akash gets interested in Neethi’s younger sis, Meethi, who initially does not reciprocate his feelings but has a change of heart, all of a sudden, for reasons best known to her alone.

On the other hand, Aman Verma, Neethi’s childhood friend, is interested in Neethi, but does not have the guts to express it, for fear of losing her.

The story goes thr’ many ups and downs, the bad men being Akash’s own uncles...A lot of things that do not retain the interest of the viewer for long. Finally, the story comes to a sudden end...( me thinks, the director was suddenly ordered to pack his bags and move out ) with both the sisters finding their true love !!!

My, what a serial it was...the only thing which still lingers in my mind is the title song, sung beautifully by Shankar Mahadevan and Mahalaxmi.
