I bought SZ-R on 10/10/12, my experience with ASHOKA was not so pleasant firstly the previous week I got a quotation and yhe price quoted was 67607+accesories, on 8/10/2012 I went for a test ride and the price quoted was same as before. But on the day of purchase the sales manager quoted 69000 and also the handling charges which was 600 was increased to 900, on asking the person replies the prices have gone up. I don’t understand when there is no change in tax policy how can price go up by 1500, not at least the handling charges.
We were there at the showroom at 10 in the morning, we paid the cash and were asked to wait 30 min. We had to wait 4 hours because they were not finding the keys of the vehicle and also the people did not give a printed INVOICE they just handed over hand written bills from bill book. Again when asked the sales manager replies we never give printed invoices to anyone sir, this is what we give to everyone. (i felt like I was buying groceries from a local kirana store) At last after all this trouble when I was leaving with my bike I was asked about the experience with them by their CUSTOMER RELATIONS personnel and when complained she got me a invoice, handed me over a copy of insurance, they clicked a photo and I was on my way. MORE OVER I will have to go their again tomorrow to get my warranty cards, original insurance.
One thing I would say about ashoka motors mettuguda is that these people are fraudulent and so are almost all out there, so please tally every penny before you pay them because once you pay them nobody bothers about you or your satisfaction. To my knowledge prices cannot go up by 1500-2000 rs in two days if even there was hike in price , the sales manager did not have a genuine answer this raises many suspicions about their business practices.
I WILL RECOMMEND ASHOKA MOTORS TO OTHERS ONLY BECAUSE I FEEL THEY ARE STILL BETTER THAN OTHERS SUCH AS VENKATESHA MOTORS BUT WILL ADVICE THE CUSTOMERS TO BE CAUTIOUS WHILE DEALING WITH THEM.
