Being one of the long time user of Asianet Dataline, i def. have some good point to tell about the service and particularly about the customer support system.
I do agree like every other ISP, ADL also have speed related issues and some biiling related complaints but if mentioning the complete package which they are offering, I will be giving good marks for them, on the schemes they have and more particularly the customer focussed service initiatives.
If speed issue is the only negative point against them, points like round the clock call center and good dealings of employees of ADL give them that special No 1 position across India in the B class ISP’s. Local support infrastructure with trained staff will be the trength of the company and which prevents other ISP’s to beat them in their home state.
If speed was the issue for my home connection, I really got surprised on the assured bandwidth which they are giving to my office connection at Technopark, I do wonder and even had talks with Asianet Dataline sales peoples on this issue on why this differance on assured bandwidth.
They give me clear clarification for the same, by telling the details of various packages they have for various application, for home connection they have Homenet packs and for office they have PRINET series which will give 100% thruput.
Anyway I do recommend ADL being an ISP who could not only provide tailormade packs for home segment but also highend solutions for corporates.
