I was using a vsnl dial up connection when my poor unfortunate brain wanted to try some thing different. So when the connection expired I went for a asianet data line.keralas own product, keralas pride being a proud keralite I fell for it.
right from the start(ie 6 months back) I have been having a haunting experience. My friends at tvm said the connection in kochi will be better so I gave it a chance.Honesty for the first 1-2 weeks it wasnt that bad. Then it fell in.Miserably slow speed , abrupt disconnection, sometimes abrupt connection. what else once u logg on sometimes u will not be able to log out .However I will have to admit that it is slightly better than my vsnl dial up.Poor me with pocket holed by bsnl telephone bill thought I could get away with this dear kerala product and I disconnected my landline and took 2 mobile connections instead.I fell into a larger trap. any way I will describe it in detail
Service: In kochi the service is not bad in any terms. They try to help you the best possible way but simply cant get through this . The + point however is that they are not very keen on collecting the bill if I give they take and if I dont then that is it may be they are very empathetic .I believe my bill is 2 months due.
Software: I believe Asianet got its software at a second hand price form kochi boat jetty anyway they named it cyberroam client.I havent seen a worser software.Even when u click log in nothin happens .The cyberroam clock which shows you the time u have been connected.sometimes it spreads all over my screen I f I drag it around.
Connection: Already existing users can check this out in cnet bandwidth tester I checked it out myself but I did not understand anything which came as results.Honestly it gets connected almost all the time in the first try.but there are periods of blackout
Rate:This is the only area where ADL stands it has the cheapest plan around wow 50 which costs rs 50+tax+rent. (+desparate phone bills on calls for help)
I have been trying desparately to get my usage info from the asianet website however still I am unsucsesful. Asainet has got the potential I believe but still I cant understand what is going on.
I wouldnt reccomed this to anyone even if u threaten to blow off my head. I had enough of this I am going for a bsnl dataone the one for rs250. but then I will need a landline connection.Somebody save me!!!!! . If u have any grudge against someone plaease be free to recommed this to them.I can assure u complete satisfaction.
And dont forget to rate my review and please be free to comment on it.
To already existing users: If u happen to read this permit me to share our common ill fate.
