Ask Jeeves.com is, Ill admit, a very good search engine, and its simple plain-english type in a question approach makes it perfect for people not yet familiar with search engines...
However, I found it a bit limiting compared with other search engines such as Lycos ( https://lycos.com) or Yahoo ( https://yahoo.com), because it only shows a few results on the results screen, and the I found the questions it answered were often not the ones I typed in, which makes the results about as much use as a rugby player dancing swan lake...
What I find is the best feature of this engine is the way it searches all other major engines, and displays the best dozen or so of each, this saves loads of time, and its very good for finding sites on subjects in general, just not specific sites...
Bizarrely, the results it comes up with are often more interesting than what you typed in, which often sidetracks me...
