I placed an order with Askmebazaar.com and never received the product. After 20 days, when I called them, they said they cancelled the order for some meaningless reason. They never informed me about the cancellation nor did they credit my money back on my card. I asked them to process the reverse payment and waited weeks again. No use!
When I complained online, they asked me to register a complaint on a link. I did that also. But no use again! I tweeted them repeatedly with Bangalore City Police also in Cc. No use! Every time I complain, there is a mechanical response with a different name using the same Twitter account saying they are working on the issue. I am surprised that in this age of technology, they have been successfully cheating people for so many years. When I googled about them, I found that it’s a fraud company and there are victims of their frauds all over the country. Even FIRs have been filed against them in other places of the country.
I don’t want to leave them. I am okay to go to any extent to teach them a lesson. I am wondering how they have escaped from the Government and police for so long. I smell something bigger a scam in the background. Let’s see.
FYI - I haven’t got my money back yet even after 53 days!
