This movie was supposed to be a historical review of the great king of india Ashoka.Although the producers decided to remove ’h’ from the name and named it Asoka.
The film was supposed to provided us some valuable information about the great indian king whose existence is still felt today in our National Flag as well as the emblem of our Nation.
But this film fails totally in this attempt. Shahrukh does his overacting as usual. Besides other facts the three guards shown viz, Jonny Lever, Suresh Menon & Rajpal Yadav who are expert at comedy bore the people with their hopeless comedy.
The music which was said would create history has been inspired and Anu Malik has failed again to deliver.One or two songs are good and it only shows Kareena’s sexy look.
Shahrukh is without a shirt all the film and this was expected. But what was not expected that Kareena has overexposed a lot matching Shahrukh. She has shown her tummy and navel in every shot, the only saving grace is that the has worn choli’s(otherwise.......)
If you have enough of money to spend by a ticket of Asoka, go in an A.C theatre and have a three hour wonderful sleep.
