Asoka - the filmi version of the history

Asoka

visually appealing movie

nature lovers will enjoy

good photography

bad music - looks alike techno culture was there during the time of asoka there is a scene in which a local pub in Kalinga has a dance sequence with RajLaxmi dancing on a techno number in front of a huge crowd drinking beer like thing in bamboo glasses and screaming looks a kind a funny

people were very much beauty conscious during that era looks like they have shown people having mud bath, sharukh bathing in a pond with all kind of hurbs and leaves floating in the water

bad costume design - looks like all designers have come up for a ramp show every five minutes there is a change in costume style

Kareena is almost in one kind of cloths for the whole movie and with a horrible makeup

you can see a few good faces in the movie apart for ugly faces like shark specially Rishita Bhatt looks gorgeous in the movie, Karina doesn’t look as good as she is, then there is RajaLaxmi, Shweta Menon, Ajit from South who is playing a villainous role which doesn’t look like rather sharukh suited for that role (BAD role)

if you wana name any of the kids u know its a nice place to find unique names, like Kurvika etc.

some sick comedy is added as a filler for the movie with Johney Lever, Raghuveer yadav and some other character with Shweta Menon

at the end of the movie you will realize though u have studied about asoka during your school days you never knew this part of asoka

war looks like a modern war with fency weapons and new fighting styles

overall movie is okay to see once
