Assassins I am not a movie buff, not about writing reviews for that matter, but when it comes to watching movies, I like classics like Assassins. Genre: Action, Thriller, Crime Plot: Robert Rath (Sylvester Stallone) is a seasoned hitman who just wants out of the business with no back talk. But, as things go, it ain’t so easy.
A younger, peppier assassin named Bain (Antonio Banderas) is having a field day trying to kill said older assassin. Rath teams up with a computer hacker named Electra (Julianne Moore) to defeat the obsessed Bain. I do not want to spoil the show, but just want to give the readers a glimpse of how things unfold in this action, thriller between the two giants of Hollywood cinema i.e. Sylvester and Banderas.
?Robert Rath is in the bushes with a ?mark? who offers Robert Rath to double the money if he allows him to go free (and he does not want to be killed like a mark). Robert again given a contract to kill Alan (the crime boss) but Miguel Bain shows up and steals his ?mark?. In the process Miguel Bain captured by the cops but manages to go free, and now Robert Rath is after Miguel Bain and wants to know about him that why he stole his contract and what he wants. Miguel Bain admires Robert Rath as a seasoned and accomplished killer, but as things unfold, Robert Rath is getting the impression that he is no more required by his contractor and now he has become a ?mark?.
So, he partners with Electra to defy odds and defeat two enemies at the end because 15 years before, when Robert killed his boss Nicolai Tashlinkov, he lives in agony and in the end his ex-boss shows up and says that he was never killed by Robert?s bullet because he wore a bullet-proof jacket.? Overall, the action sequences between the two are great, specially the last scene, when Robert goes to draw 20 million dollars from the bank and Miguel Bain is waiting and waiting and waiting for him to come to be killed.
