Since last one month I wanted to update this review but was not able to get enough time....at last the time has come.
First of all I would like to clarify that there are two companies with a similar name -
Associated Cargo movers and packers - company based in pune
Associated Movers and packers - company based in coimbatore
This feedback (as well Soumya’s feedback) is for the first company Associated cargo movers and packers.
I recently shifted (end of sep 08) from Chennai to Gurgaon. I was really very much worried for the shifting of my house hold stuff. Every thing in my house (TV, Fridge, AC etc) was brand new (just few months old) as I had shifted to Chennai only in the month of May 08.
My major point of concern was the shipment being a part load. A part load involves more concerns as the shipment gets unloaded and reloaded a number of times.
Moreover I could not find any suitable feedback on any of the Movers and packers expect for "Associated Cargo Movers and Packers".
Based on Soumya’s feedback (and thanks to him) I opted for Associated Cargo and contact Mr. Rajendran (in Chennai). He is a true professional who helped me in all aspects he could.
As promised the people came on the said day (though a little late by 2 hrs). I was totally impressed by the way they took atmost care for packing all my stuff, specially for all the breakable items.
Moreover all electronic items were doubly wrapped in plastic sheets to take care from damages due to rain.
Every thing was done in 4 to 5 hrs and through out the process all of them were very soft spoken.
During initial check i was promised wooden crates for TV and fridge but on packing day they forgot to bring the same but while leaving promised that the same would be taken care before final dispatch.
Now even for payment they had no real issues (are a little flexible on full payment norms at loading point) and agreed for cheque payment.
I was promised that all my stuff would reach in 10 to 12 days. Every time I called up in between I was updated with the latest status.
All my stuff reached safely within the said days (Not even a single item got damaged). They actually had provided wooden crates for both TV and Fridge as promised.
I would surely recomend "Associated Cargo Movers and Packers" to all.
