I moved from coimbatore to hyderabad recently and had the misfortune of hiring associated movers since they were a bit cheaper than the branded ones. Now to start with, first of all they did not bring up any packing boxes that they promised. So they ended up taking our stuff in plastic bags, promising to pack it in the ware house. Then they covered it in such a way that the boxes got wet ruining my mattresses and other stuff. On top of that they lost a few bags and despite me buying full insurance coverage from them, they have refused to give me claim. Nobody knows who’s the boss there.
Only rakesh picks up the phone and would tell that he would talk to somebody about anything you ask. The height was that instead of transporting my car in a car container they hired somebody to drove it 1500 km. And lied to me. It was only through the odometer reading that I came to know. They didn’t even put a plastic cover on my bike, which got all scratched up and when complained about it was told that plastic doen’t help anyway. If you can stay away from them do that.
If I can save somebody from getting ripped off by these fools, I would feel better. Those who are moving for the first time, understand, hiring a mover is probably the most important decision in moving.
