Astitva is a pertty good tv serial...although it has been stretched way too far. The things they show in the drama are very realistic...there is none of that typical stupidness thats in most dramas. All the acting is excellent from all the actors/actresses.
The lessons the characters learn are very good. The main problem would be the main character, Niki Taneja. Although she does very good acting, they display her as Miss. Perfect. She always has to be the best and be soo damn perfect. She has all these annoying philosophies and always gives lectures. The baby Aastha in teh drama is sooo incredibly adorable. But otherwise the drama is very good and totally watchable. It has strcuture to it and isn’t like otehr indian dramas (although it is REALLY long). Theres no women walknig around at home all dolled up looking as if they are going to get married or something.
Also, there isn’t that one evil person, like in typical dramas, who always comes up with some evil plan. The plot isn’t very original or so great...but its shown very good and the plot is given life by the characters.
