Nevertheless, there are some people in this world who know they are here to serve a purpose and such is the story line of the latest offering from Zee-Tv. ’’Astitva’’ is an biography of a woman of substance who lives her life for justifying her ’’astitva -existence’’. She is here to endeavor herself to treat patients in a hospital which is just one of the way she chooses to answer her asks from Him. She thinks that now that you are on this earth, you can’t run away from the responsibilities in the age of degeneration and subsequently strikes a perfect balance between her professional and personal life. The woman of substance is ’’simran’’ played by the well-known big smile faced ’’ niki aneja walia ’’. She also is famous for sporting a look resembling ’’madhuri dixit ’’. Another part of the story is a sweet boy named ’’ abhimanyu alias abhi ’’ played by the very talented ’’ varun badola ’’ who has been acting for quiet sometime now and succeeds in registering yet another feather in his cap already adorned by the feathers from serials like ’’star best sellers ’’, ’’des mein nikla hoga chaand ’’ , ’’koshis-ek asha’’ to name a few. He plays a fashion photographer who is in search of a model who has the depth in herself , a model who knows the cause of her existence . fortunately he meets simran in hospital and the story is set rolling . good sequencing of the shots till now. This serial feels very homely and true to life . one noting worth point is the background music.yes, magical notes humming behind abhimanyu which do resemble the one from Yanni’s -reflections of passion’’ but they aint copied for sure .
A must see serial for those who love life and don’t know the reason for living it . p.s: I will write more once a few episodes are off. I’ve written this just to show you that non saas-bahu scraps do exist .
