Astoria!!! I dont know what name stand for. But Hotel is very nice.As I am in Mumbai since last ten days my office make arrangement for my stay at this Hotel. The Hotel is situated at Church Gate. The location is very good, just missed half KM from Marine Drive, Nariman drive, BSE.
Thats all about location now I should come about the comfort. The room are very very comfortable. The bads, bathroom etc are very good. Just a bath tub is missing, other things are fine.
Room service is good and prompt. You will find service boy at your door within some seconds whenever you call them. The tea and coffee making facility is provided in room itself. So I dont have to spent amount on my Bed Tea. In every room there is a cool small refrigerator is installed so that we can enjoy water and drinks childed
The waiters are fine but some of them does not know how to smile. Now I should come to the specialty of the Hotel. That is its food.
The food is amaging and very delicious. The hotel give a breakfast and a dinner as compliment.
The food is very very good and full of varieties in veg and Non-veg. They even have conference rooms for meeting and presentations.
overall hotel is very good. But you cant accept the extra features like swimming pool and steam bath as it is completely bossiness hotel. Most of the guest are businessman or working class. Hardly you find any family staying here.
The prices are relatively high but it is difficult to expect lesser cost for the same location.
I recommend the hotel as I can daily go to the Rocking Marine drive after my office for a happening evening walk.
