Till now no review on this product. chaaa. Ok let me start the review about this wonderful product. I brought this wonderful product ’’ASUS CRW-4824A’’ in February 2003 and still now its working perfectly having burned almost 200+ CD’s. Never got any repairs. ASUS is known for its brand name. This writer has most advance features like ’’FlextraLink’’, ’’FlextraSpeed’’ and ’’DDSSII’’ almost 2 years back.

One more advantage is it has a Unique Dust-Proof and Noise-Control Design.
I brought this writer for Rs.3300 which is Rs. 300 more expencive than Samsung ang LG in those days. Before purchasing this writer I considered of getting either LG or SONY. But LG has a name for breaking CD’s, SONY for poor quality(only for computer CD Drives. actually I am a dream admirer of SONY products) and coming to SAMSUNG its the same Tray problem. So finally I brought the perfect one the ASUS writer.
The bundled kit in retail box along with the drive compraises of :
1 DataBus Cable
1 Ejector Pin
1 Stereo Audio Cable
1 Nero OEM Software CD
1 ASUS blank CD-R and
1 ASUS 700MB with 16X speed CD-RW(probably this was the fastest and high capacity CD-RW in Februray 2003).
The writer has 2MB data buffer and capability of writing in different modes like TAO, SAO, DAO, DAO-RAW. What else to say if you are going for a writer then go for ASUS blindly.
