Display Clarity is HD like... good to watch HD movies. Performance is poor as it is just a notebook. 4GB RAM is what keeps it alive... also, the touchpad keys are very hard and not user friendly.
The only drawback I see in this basic notebook is the touchpad buttons, rest is all good for a cheap 15 inch display laptop. So, if you are looking for basic use alone in a bigger display, u can go ahead and buy this ASUS 550.
