I really love this one for what I need it for(watching videos on youtube and surfing the web when not at home or I don’t want to sit at my desktop).
Its all black but glossy on the surface which shows a lot of fingerprints. The touch pad clicker on the other hand is metal brushed and picks up fingerprints as if your hands were covered in ink.
The screen is MATTE NOT GLOSSY which I also like a lot since I don’t get glare when in a well lit room or sitting with my back to a window.
I will say that the keyboard is a good set up, but the right side shift key is a bit small. I tend to hit the enter or arrow key instead of the right shift key. I think with time I’ll get used to it but at the moment. sometimes screws up what I’m doing(like logging into emails or facebook).
It is really light weight which I like but the battery so far only lasts about 5 hours if you’re just running items from computer. If you’re streaming or browsing it’s more like right over 3.5 hours, perhaps 4 if you’re lucky. I’m sure a longer lasting battery would probably add weight to this but I didnt feel it, as its really lightweight.
Pro’s:
Good price range, reasonably small size to carry, good battery life.
Con’s:
Windows 7 STARTER so less customization and not full use of programs, touch pad clicker is a fingerprint magnet, heats up really quickly.
Supposedly you can’t play heavy graphics games on it like World of Warcraft, but I haven’t tried it yet. I highly doubt this little machine would handle Age of Empire 2.
Overall perfect for what I use it for, just a few minor issues that take a little time/getting used to in order to work around them
