ASUS P-527 The blunder in Making...Y I choose this title becoz its wat it is.... I spent around 13, 500/- thinking this phone will b any good the nokia’s and sony’s. not to tell I was impressed with Windows Mobile 6 interface.
But after a prolong use, I found it sumwhat yuk yuk yuk!!!, ., , not to tell the package bundle is awesome with a car holder, car charger, travel charger, micro usb cable, Software CD also bundled was a MS Outlook 2007 Trial version and Also a SATGUIDE GPS Software(a not so good GPS software.will talk about it later).
And user manual and micro SD 1 GB Card thnx to Satguide who packed in with software in bundled.. I hv used phones which I liked and purchased for the same but this one caused me a blunder.....Lotsa things missing...
ASUS People pls read this u r paying a royalty for microsoft for windows mobile software...and did they provide u with a all the source code for the same..
U dont have simple thing called as Contacts Copier (SIM to PhoneBook)...i found it on my FRIENDS O2 which atleast 3-4yrs old it was also there in Nokia 3315......when I tried to send a group msg by selecting multiple names only the first name selected gets the msg and other sit in DRAFTS...ha ha(Sarcastic)...
Strange thing happed the other day....it was getting connected to Internet automatically(GPRS based) and bloody I had to charge the phone thrice in a day becoz of this flaw.The worst case USB 1.1 in which world are the ASUS people and that to they pronounce USB 1.1 Fullspeed...the Camera is good but bright is the key point if u have light u hv a good cam or else by a digicam..
Network connectivity I found it good but again it sometimes shows connected but never works on my laptop..I tried Pinging to google.com ...showed request timed out..i dont blame it on ASUS its my service provider’s problem......loud speaker : I dont think its loud enough...
it’s loud with midi tones and "can u hear that" with MP3’s...dont ask about video’s.....one good thing is finding conacts it’s ease...if u want to find abhijeet just type 22445338......java only Opera Mini and Gmail works other else is of no use.....Wifi conectivity is good but need to be in a strong zone it has a tendency to lose connections..........bluetooth transfer are good but no DUN in case u want to use it as a modem....use third party software like WMRouter or sumthing...what else if u by any chance purchased this blunder sell it NOW!!!
