I have been using a P750 for more than one year now and it has not disappointed me at all.
The phone is very well build and thanks to the rubber like material, it can withstand minor falls without any problem.
The first good thing about this phone is that it does not force you to poke the screen with the stylus for making calls. Most of the PDA phones are cumbersome to operate under direct sunlight because the screen becomes almost invisible unless you put the screen brightness at its peak. Using stylus becomes a pain under the Sun. P750s smart contact lookup feature allows contact searching dialing using one just hand.
Another useful feature of this phone is a hardware Screen Lock Key. Simply sliding this key protects it from accidentally dialing last dialed number when the phone is in your pocket. Sliding the same key up instantly switches-off the screen, thus saving power.
Other PDA features are standard as with any other WM phone and the phone will do these jobs without any trouble.
I got a bundled GPS software with my 750 and I could easily trace my route from Pune to Mumbai airport with turn-by-turn voice navigation. Even google maps works great if you get good GPRS speed. However I could not test the 3G speed as only BSNL offers 3G at present for a not-so-affordable rate of Rs2/MB
For those who do not know - this phone has 240X320 resolution, although the screen supports 480X640 resolution(same as HTC Touch Diamond). This is due to a mistake by the OEM. However ASUS went ahead with the 240X320 resolution to avoid last minute software changes. But an unofficial Russian WM6.1 ROM is available with 480X640 resolution. Be aware that ASUS support wont help you with this unofficial software. I upgraded my ROM with this version and my phone is working as it did for last 5-6 months.
Bad point about this phone - 64MB RAM. Dont know why ASUS put so less RAM. This sometime makes the phone bit slow while using multiple apps. The best option to avoid this is to select the ASUS Task Manager settings to close applications on press of "X".
Overall this phone is worth buying, although I wonder if I bought it at the right price. I paid 28K for this phone.its price fell to <20K within few months of launch
But other than the price my P750 has not given me any reason to complain.
I get upto 3 days between recharges with moderate use and 1 day with heavy use(4+hrs).
Expect battery to run out faster if you are one of those who like to keep their bluetooth and Wi-Fi on 24X7. Especially Wi-Fi drains the battery very fast.
* In the Box you will get: Phone, 1 battery, 2 stylus, Mini-USB cable, Charger, A phone stand, 1 car charger
