I purchased this laptop around a year back and after just 4 months of using it, it just went dead. On calling asus service support, they visited my home to check laptop and told me that the motherboard needs to be changed and itll take 15-20 days for the part to arrive. After 20 days when the part arrived, the technician came to my place but shockingly he had ordered the wrong part so he told me itll again take 15-20 more days for the replacement to arrive. Then after 20 more days the guy came to my place, changed the entire motherboard and left. After he left I observed that there were dent like bumps in the keyboard side body of laptop, they were there because the so called technician guy had put wrong matching screws from the bottom side while assembly and over tighten them. He basically screwed the body of my few months old laptop. I called the service center so the same guy arrived again and when he saw that he messed this up, he told me that he will change the entire body. Now this particular model has the keyboard permanently attached to the body, so he planned to do fraud with asus company by wrongly filing complaint that the keyboard is faulty and needs to be changed. Then he told me that the body+keyboard will arrive in next few days and left. Again after 20 days he came back with body+keyboard part, changed it inside my laptop and left. Now I was shocked when after few days the screws of my laptop started falling one by one. The technician hasnt properly tightened the screws maybe because last time he over tightened them. Then I visited an Asus service centre in another city and they told me the screws are not covered in warranty. So I told them to correctly put the remaining screws in right holes and properly tighten them. They did the same and I came back to my home. Now to my utter shocking surprise two of my rubber pads at the bottom of the laptop have fallen off and missing. This is really disgusting. I was already sceptical about buying an asus laptop. Now I am sure will never buy any Asus product in future. Better invest 10-20% extra and go for some trusted brand.
