I had bought ASUS laptop X515M Celeron 8 months back and the design of the power adapter is very bad for India, not standard for India.
We usually have 3 pin socket, all other brand laptops have 3 pin adapter but worst part of ASUS is 2 pin Adapter which is not good at all.
Now a days, this laptop is used by students and not so easy for kids to connect the adapter to socket if you have 2 pins for the adapter.
Now the adapter is not working though we have not done any physical damage and its under warranty as well, these ASUS guys are not replacing the adapter free of cost.
They have told, it will be free within warranty period of 1 year. Have bought this notebook on 12th June 2021.
Service technician visited onsite to check the same and he was saying it is opened so does not cover warranty.
This kind of adapter is prone to open when you have this design, not done any physical damage.
What kind of service you are offering to customers? who will buy this kind of laptop, it was a big mistake buying this notebook.
This was bought by my family member who does not have much knowledge on products.
Sincerely writing and urging to everyone not to buy ASUS products which is pathetic design.
