Good phone packed with decent specs

The Asus zenfone 2 laser is a great phone for the price point. The hardware and the software are optimized beautifully and the device performs really well. It comes with various ram, processor and storage options to choose from.

Pros: Very nice integration by the manufacturer to marry the hardware with it’s software. The zen ui is beautiful, intuitive and fast.

Regular firmware updates keeps the performance of the phone surprisingly snappy.

The phone comes with snapdragon 410 to snapdragon 616 processors clocking 1.2 ghz to 1.7ghz in the top variant. There is very little noticeable lag and the device performs really well even when multitasking or gaming.

The ram varies from 2 gb to 3 gb depending on the model and all of them perform really well. Internal storage options vary from 16gb to 32 gb depending on the model with upto 128 gb external micro sd card support which is really consumer friendly.

The battery is user replacable.

All the models are dual sim( lte+ lte) which gives upto date network connectivity option to the end user.

Standard connectivity options like wifi, bluetooth, gps and wireless display are also integrated and available across all models.

The rear facing camera is 13 mp auto focus and pictures captured are very good and balanced. Front facing 5 mp auto focus camera is great for taking selfies as well.

Display for the lower end are 1280 * 720p hd and for higher models are 1920 * 1080p full hd. Displays across all models are brilliant and color saturation is very good.

All models comes with corning gorilla glass 4 protection which is a huge relief as it takes out the possibilty of stratches or wear and tear on the display due to regular use and occassional contact with metal objects or hard surfaces.

300mah battery provides decent backup with a full days backup on normal usage.

Cons:

The zen ui may lag slightly sometimes as it is a bit heavy.

Bloatwares that comes with the phones which may not be necessary.

Lack of Nfc support

Verdict: a great phone to suit all needs and a good buy.
