Worst Nightmare of my life.

I bought my Zenfone 2 Laser in October 2016 but buying this phone prove to be some of those bad decisions I made in my life. After 3-4 months of using this phone, one day the phone switched of automatically. and was not starting even after lots and lots of tries. I tried charging it for the whole day but noting worked and I had to go to the service center . I left my phone there and I was told that i’ll receive a call in 4-5 days when my phone is repaired. I waited for 8 days but I didn’t receive any call. When I called them I was told that my phone is ready for pickup since the last 4 days but they didn’t even bothered calling me. When I asked about the problem they told that they had to replace the motherboard when I went there to receive my phone, I met 4 people with exactly the same issue. I wasn’t charged anything by them. After another 5 months, the same issue occurred one day. Being known to the problem I went to the service center again. They again received my phone and I was told that i’ll get a call from them once the phone is repaired. 3 days later I got a call from them the boy on the other side told me that they needed to change the battery and the battery wold cost around 800 Rs as the battery was out of warranty. I told them to go for it. 10 days later I called then to inquire about my phone and I was told that they haven’t received the parts yet and it will take another couple of days. 4 days later I received a call from them and they informed me that my phone was ready for pickup. I went there and on asking about the problem I was told that the Motherboard, Display and the Battery were changed. I was handed over a bill of 1500 Rs. which stated~1000 battery and~500 Service charge. I was like WTF. 500 for installing the battery. I paid them and got my phone. That day also I met 2-3 people with the same problem with their devices. On my way back home I found another problem in the device which was the phone loses network when i’m inside a building and the it comes back when i’m under the open sky. This phone used to had a great network connectivity inside my room but now it was always showing no service. A few days later I went back to the service center and on telling them about the problem I was told that there’s no problem with the phone and there is problem with the network in your area those people tended to ignore me. Network tower of my service provider is barely 100 meters away from my house and the same sim works very well when put in some other device. It was the moment when I really felt like buying a hammer from a hardware store and breaking the phone into millions of pieces right in front of them but I controlled my anger. That day I met 2 people at the service center with the same network issue and they were told the same thing which I was told.


Very Bad Experience with ASUS India. I"ll never recommend anyone to buy an Asus Device ever.
