Good budget phone

ASUS Zenfone C comes with 1GB RAM and 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 4 logical cores which not only handles the day-to-day apps smartly, but also provides the user with an awesome UI experience. Considering the budget point(I got it for Rs.5000/- INR with the App offer 10% offer).

I must admit that although the Intel Z2520 processor consumes a lot of energy, yet with moderate usage, the phone is capable to providing the user with an ample amount of juice throughout the working hours till one reaches home. The 5MP pixel master camera after the update works as good as other 5MP cameras in the AUTO mode or normal mode, but the other modes like HDR, Low-Light, and Night modes might disappoint an experienced android user. Sound is fair enough, but not that loud. Suitable for professionals and is a con when seen with a teenager’s eye.

The only way to get rid of any problem is through updating the device as and when a notification is released. The Internet speed is pretty good and at times better that other devices at this range even when using 2G connection. The phone looks very elegant with a shiny finish at the front and a matte-rubber finish at the back. Unlike other androids the ZEN UI provides the user with a rich android experience by packing all the day-to-day useful options directly into the drop down panel of the status-bar.

The only con I found was the fuel duration. Even with a 2100mAh battery, it doesn’t last as long as it is expected to be. This credit goes to the intel processor. Apart from this all other features according to me is a PLUS considering the price range.
