I like phones which lasts more than a year of good usage, this is a smartphone with lots of great specifications but still is lacking in some departments where it needs to be improved.
But is it is not worth spending 10000 rupees? lets discuss. Why even having all the necessary requirements for an amazing smartphone is it still not worth buying. PROS -
Value for money -(10/10)
"Priced at 10000 rupees for 3GB variant this is absolutely the 10 on 10 value for money smartphone, with a 5000 mAH battery, android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 625 processor" Battery-(9/10)
With 5000 MaH battery it lasts amazingly well with two days of battery backup, you just due to the efficient Snapdragon 625 chip and a stock amazingly well with two days of you just due to the efficient Snapdragon 625 chip but relatively 5000 MH battery should do more it is due to the stock experience or I should say not the stock experience that due to the lack of optimisations it is not lasting as it is expected.
Performace -(9/10)
Processor with Snapdragon 636 processor and three Gigabyte of RAM and Android Oreo returns amazingly well but it for the needs optimizations which makes it a little buddy not to have Optimisation
CONS
Camera -(8/10)
The camera app is bad, although they have promised in their updates "they will improve the camera app" but it has not been improved and it still needs further improvement to be better and also the cameras are good but certain improvements are needed in them also.
Build quality and design-(8/10)
build quality I measure it with the chances of the phone surviving about half a year of usage and it does not have such a build quality that it can last a year or more redmi and Samsung has better-built quality although the design is not bad.
Software
The software is rather buggy and it is not pure Android that the company claims. It certainlyneeds a lot of optimizations which are provided in the redmi phones and they are significantly better at this point. Although having 5000 MaH battery and Snapdragon 636 it still does not perform as expected.
Although this phone is great for the value for money you should consider that other 1000 rs costly phones do all these things but also you will get a better quality at all this.Because a phone with less but useful features is better than a phone with more but unuseful features because these features will come to an end if the phone misfunction as
Asus does not have a good CUSTOMER CARE support in India and it certainly does not believe in providing software updates in this phone has a lot of bugs.
Hence, I would recommend you not to buy it because if you are looking to buy a phone that will last around 2 years you should go for a Xiaomi or a Samsung brand that would last longer and that will not be buggy and would give a much user-friendly experience than another smartphone for the price.
I would recommend the company to improve on the quality and do not think India can be fooled by the products with more number of specifications because people care about the quality more than quantity.
