EXTERIOR- Ather 450 is a very neat and clean looking scooter. The lEd headlight and turn indicators blend very beautifully in the front end of the ScooterInsturment Cluster- Instrument cluster on the Ather 450 is a 7 inch intelligent touch screen unit. It measures and strores the riding nature of the rider and predicts the Range. Riding modes of the scooter include an Eco mode and a normal mode and they can e changed with a single tap on the instrument cluster. Intrument cluster comes with integrated Google maps for navigation and Home and Work Location can be saved on the Instrument cluster as well.Comfort- Seating position on the Ather 450 is very similar to other scooters of the market. Foot board of the scooter feels a bit high because the battery is situated below the foot board. Seat is very well cushioned and seating is comfortable for tall and short riders as well. Handlebar isn’t wide enough which makes it easy to filter through traffic . Pillion seat is also very comfortable as it offers good amount of cushioning.Performance - Rear Wheel is powered by a 5.4 kW electric motor. When converted, it gives around 7.2 Bhp of power and 20 Nm of torque. Power delivery is very fast and scooter crosses 40 Km/hr in less than 4 seconds. Top speed in Eco mode is 60 Km/ hr and 80 Km/hr in Normal mode.Conclusion- Ather 450 is the best electric scooter I’ve ever experienced. It rides like a motorcycle and offers the comfort of a scooter. The price is a bit high and if it had been a bit low then this scooter would come out as a great package overall.
