Athirappilly waterfalls is biggest waterfall in kerala. I am also from Kerala around 110 kilometer distance from Athirappilly waterfalls so my family members are selecting Athirappilly as first option for outing. Its around 50 kilometer distance from Chalakkudi, thrissur. on the way to this waterfalls we can sea dream world water park and silver strom water park. Athirappilly water falls is located inside a forest and vazhachal also a near tourist area of it. due to forest the accommodation is very far from athirappilly. accommodation available at Chalakkudi(It is the near city of this athirappilly waterfalls) full time police, forest guard and control room service available here. we can visit top side and bottom side of this waterfalls but not allow to overtake the safety line which is marked in the rocks.
