Get Set and Go!

How do I convince a person to read

1.A book which is over 1000 pages long?.

2.A book which does not have a clear cut story?.

3.A book which might intimidate us with the kind of characters it has?.

4.A book which most people probably have told you is boring?

SIMPLE:

I can tell you this might be the MOST powerful set of words ever put together.

Do not get hold of this book if you are bored and need something to pass your time.(There are many others for that)

Read this book if you find you are losing clarity and focus in life and arent finding a purpose or maybe you think you are just losing direction.

You would do the author a gross injustice if you read this book as any other novel and then complain that hey! it was not that great.

The author basically believes in materialism and objectivism and she believes that there is nothing wrong in a person working all his life in pursuing his goals whatever they may be ie:money, fame, success...whatever and believes its hypocrisy to talk the other way.

The book contains certain characters who the author believes are how men and women should be or atleast strive to be like them.

I am not going to bore you with the plot of the book but let me just tell you that the plot of the book is entwined beautifully with what the author wants to say.

The plot is how the world might turn out to be if the most important of all thinkers and people who who run the world , decide to turn their back on us.(dont get carried away already).

The author took 11 years to get the plot of the book together and has been able to tell whatever she has wanted with a huge deal of conviction.

What impressed me most about AynRand was that her set of beliefs were something she was passionate about when she lived and had no qualms about writing about them.

The book will bring changes in the reader at some level or the other depending upon the seriousness of the reader.

There are certain things which I enjoyed and I would love for you to pay attention to.

1.Fransisco D’ Anconia’s words(frisco for short)

2.Dogged Determination of Dagny Taggart

3.The work ethics of Hank Rearden

4.The speech of John Galt which is around 50 pages long but is so beautiful that you might look at the world differently.

MY advice:

The book might get too intimidating in parts but dont give up because at the end of the book you would have learnt many a new thing.

So::::: GET SET AND GO!
