Pathetic after sales service

I purchased a Renesa model fan in July 2023. After two months of usage, the fan started making noise. I raised a complaint, and a technician visited, attributing the noise to insufficient space for the fan rod to move. He broke the false ceiling near the rod, ensuring us it would resolve the issue.


Following winter, we encountered health issues and couldn’t address the fan problem properly. When we reused the fan, we raised another complaint, requesting a visit between 9 am and 3 pm, as nobody stays home afterward.


Despite this, our complaint was repeatedly canceled.


A month ago, a technician visited, opened, repaired, and adjusted the fan with his master remote. He acknowledged the fan wasn’t working properly and promised to report it. However, he was unaware that I had raised complaints for six fans, thinking it was only one. He said I should raise a new complaint for the two problematic fans, and he would visit again for replacement.


I raised a new complaint in front of him, but the cancellation loop continued. Two days ago, a new technician visited with Mr. Ritik, the head sales manager. He denied replacement and insisted on repairing. I expressed my view, stating that I had allowed repairs multiple times, and now I want a replacement.


He said, ’Repairing is all I can do; allow repair this time, and if it still malfunctions, I’ll replace it.’ My question is, isn’t one year with repeated repairs enough? I paid for this product; it’s not a free sample. Is this the right way to deal with consumers?


It’s embarrassing when the fan makes noise or slows down in front of guests. Yesterday, I raised a complaint against the technician, which was also canceled. I’m confused about what’s happening."


I have also talked to Ms. . Priyanka from head office but again cancellation loop didn’t Stop.


As a consumer, we have right to:


1. Receive a functional product.


2. Timely and effective after-sales service.


3. Replacement or refund if product fails to perform.


My genuine review: Ffter sale service is much more disturbing that the product itself. I won’t in my life purchase any Atomberg product and won’t let anyone near me make the same mistake. I have a new house under construction and I have purchased fan for my house only, atleast by God grace, I ended up buying only 6 at that time even though my requirement was more. Not going to repeat same mistake again.
