If you are here, you are expected only to come to class for attendance. Extra-curricular activities are not encouraged. I am into Computer Science department and many lecturers in here are just into recitation of their notes in their class and creativity is discouraged, as I’ve been shamed for making my own programs with proper required techniques in lectures and exam(typically asking me to mug up and exactly paste the programs they gave).
Second semester, CCP is a subject includes C and C+ programming. We were not taught any basics in any form and we were expected to create and understand programs.
Really bad Infrastructure. Is still under construction. In the first semester in the summer season they provided us a room with no window and no working fans, and it remained for the whole semester even after complaining multiple times.
They changed my section in the second semester without noticing or asking me, leaving me with a mental trauma as I had to leave old friend circle I was very comfortable with and couldn’t really make any friend in the new section. When asked to undo, they authority said a rude "No"
Fests like Freshers day and Spathrang are celebrated each year. Just celebrated nothing to brag about.
