I moved house, roughly 2 km, and used ATS packers to help with the shift. The sales person, Avinash, did his job and went away and then came the labourers. They were uncouth to put it mildly. A fight broke out between to groups of laborers and one group walked off(I suspect this is the one which committed the theft).
The packing material was missing so they just started dumping goods into the tempo that they had brought with complete disregard for safety of the material. The tempo was too small and upon calling up Avinash he says "sir they will make 4 trips". I’m like "why?" So he offered to send a bigger truck but sine it’s in Vasai, and I was moving house in Vashi, it would take a bit of time. I said do that please but then he calls back later and says "sir kaam chalaa lo that bigger truck had flat tyre it wil take longer".
Somehow they managed to shift the stuff to our new house and then totally refused outright to unpack(this was pre decided with the sales person). I called up sales person he said sir I will give you a 1K discount. I said nothing doing I need the stuff unpacked to which he said ok you keep the 1K I’ll send two labor tomorrow(that was 3 months back).
Stuff worth at least 25K is missing, a sony cybershot digital camera, sports equipment all gone and no handle on these crooks. Frankly I wish I could do something about this but I was so disgusted with the service that I had all but blocked them out for 3 months until today when I realised there is something I can do, I can warn off other potential customers.
I have one advise for people who are looking for a mover. avoid ATS. At all costs.
