Not enough time to read?

I used to read 3-4 books a week and I love reading but do not have the time that I used to have to spend on it.

I have found audio books to be great as I can listen to a book while I work on the house, at the computer, in the tub or anywhere, even in the car. This gives me a chance to’read’ more books than I would otherwise have time for. They are even great to take along on a walk or while cycling.

Of course they are great for blind people or the elderly and a great gift to give some one in a nursing home that they can continue to enjoy.

When you are through with the audio book you can pass them on to others or if you put scotch tape over the punched out holes where the tab used to be you can tape over them. You can tape music or whatever you want on them.

Cassettes by the way are still nice for recording your voice and talking and sending to friends or relatives. It takes just two postage stamps to mail one and it can be a lot of fun.

I know I got side tracked off the original writing but many people do not know that the cassettes are re-useable.

I am so glad that some one came out with the audio books. I do of course read regular books but not as often and I would recommend audio books to anyone that is busy, or has bad eyesight. You can get all the current titles in them the same as regular books.
