The review is going to be on the DLF cup (I have placed this review under the Australian cricket team section because I have already written a review of the Indian team, so there is no other option for me).
As usual, the Aussies managed to win the DLF Cup 2006. In other words, they deserve it. India didnt make it to the final. But thats not the problem (not reaching the final), the problem is that the Indian batsmen, other than Sachin Tendulkar, didnt even show any class and commitment. It would have been a different case with India playing well but not reaching the final, but its horrible to see the overall performance by the Indian batsmen. Just have a look at the statistics (in order) below -

Leaving Tendulkar, look at the statistics of the other players. Is there any
justification or excuse of this performance by the players throught the
series ? I understand that there are hard times, but hard time throught the
series ? Im at a loss of words, honestly. And for the people criticizing
Sachin in the past, have something to say ? What did the rest of the players
contribute in the batting department leaving Tendulkar ? Its high time every
player starts contributing positively or else World Cup is fading dream !!
