People didnt used to have to pity australia like they do now. Please choose what the main problems are.
a) Shane Warne being a yahoo, taking drugs and making unsuccessful attempts to woo women.
b) Glen McGrath not being careful enough and injuring himself every time he takes his runs up
c) Steve Waugh retiring (boo hoo)
d) Stuart McGill becoming too cocky when he doesnt bowl half as well as Warne, and he cant bat or field to save his life.
e) Brett Lee returning to the attack only to discover that he doesnt have the knack anymore.
f) Jason Gillespie having his plans slashed to ribbons by Raul Dravid and V.V.S Laxman
g) all of the above
If you selected g then you are sadly correct. As you can see Australias main problems lie in its bowling which clearly needs some more practice if it wants to stand up to giants such as Mark Butcher, Sachin Tendulkar, V.V.S Laxman and Raul Dravid. Our batsman could do with a bit of work too, we dont really have the goods when it comes to large amounts of points scored in a short amount of time and frankly I dont really see a shiver going down Harbhajan Singhs spine at the mention of Steve Waugh nor Ajit Agarkar when Justin Langer steps up to bat. Quite frankly some work needs to be done. We were the best for a while but if your the best then you dont get any practice
