Though I hate the game cricket !! I sometimes like the game of the Australians and their comparitively good physique among the other country cricketers.
Ok now lets have a simple question in front of us!! . how do we expect india to win the world cup in cricket??
We can compare the australian team with the indian team to answer the question reasonably!
Fitness

lets take the fitness of the gilchrist and compare with that of the master blaster sachin or sehwag?
I think I don’t have to explain more. ok you tell me a single player in indian team with the fitness of gilchrist.
- practice

Australian team is practising or training most part of the year other than the matches.
Our indian team players doesn’t have time to act in the advertisements , then how come they come to the practice.
even if they come the so called senior players will not do anything( recall chappells comment on the ganguly).
- Team sprit

Australians do sledging , because they have the passion to win the match and sledging is an outburst of that winning sprit .
And you cannot see an australian player start playing defensively when he reached 80’s .
But you can easily see an indian started to playing defensively even before he take a 50. And basically indians won’t sledge , it not that becos of decency , it is that they don’t have the passion to win.
Actually they don’t care about the team and they are concentrating more on the self records.(so that they can get more advertisements)
4.senior players

lets take senior players like steve waugh , mark waugh, damien martyn , micheal bevan.I bet that even if australia play with these players they can definetly win the current indian team.
But it is the team and the players dignity to stop playing and allowing the young talents to prove their skills
lets come to india, Indian team did a good job by removing the "not at all performing" so called senior playyer Ganguly. but from the day he was removed everybody is criticizing chappel.And now he came back to the team because of his political power.
Now you say that how can you expect our indian cricket team to win a world cup or any tournament.
I chosed australia , because I like it , u can put any team in the place of australia and you can find indian team lags behind.
So , please dont expect indian cricket team to win!!
(P.S I will be happy if india bans cricket from india and concentrate on other sports)
