An apparently deluding classic on Indian yoga and meditation and mystic approach to the world-nature.
When I started going through it I get bewildered at the beginning, gradually when I get into it with all of my attention I found it is a gold mine of secret ancient technique of India.
The book deals with so many aspects regarding spirituality and mysticism, it starts with his parents and early childhood life and then comes the mystical experience of his mother's death then he described his experience about a few monks and householders having astonishing life experience and their confrontation with yogic power ( like 'perfume saint', 'levitating saint') just to involve yourself into the ocean of experience that yet to come later in the book.
In the meantime you will find him along with one of his friends into the way to great Himalayas for an interrupted journey. Finally he met his spiritual guru yukteswar ji and whole life had been guided towards kriya yoga.
Slowly his life was shaped and with thrilling experience of life described pages after pages and finally his going to America and hoisting the flag of Kriya Yoga. He came back to India for visiting and pilgrimage and returned to California again.
The book keeps its essence of mystical dimension throughout. A rare gem of today's time, a glory of India.
