Let’s start with the story... then go for its pros and cons......
Story:
The story is quite simple. The Hero, being a son of a postmaster, has stayed in many places in the south. Its his marriage function and he goes to his village to invite his oldage friends. During the travel he thinks of his sweet memories.
He starts with his school days in a village, where he njoys with friends..he has some attachment to a girl.. and even the girl has an attachment to him...they both start travelling together to school at the same time... and lots of small sweet memories in his book... one fine day, his school life comes to an end .. where he has to get seperated from that girl.. He does not know whether its love or sthing else..but feels very bad, to miss that girl...
He now reaches that village.. and meets old friends, staff...and finally wants to meet the same girl... he goes to her house and finds her with 3 kids.. and a good husband... she looks tooo different for him.... he invites her for his marriage..
Next, he starts to kerala where he did his college life.. lots of kerala style atmosphere... fills the screen with greenaries... He remembers his college life on the way....
He finds a mallu girl, very pleasing... kind.. and helpful... he falls in love with her... and conveys her the same... She speaks bac in malayalam...which he does not understand... there is good fun around the dialogues, and finally he gets to know that she too loves him. Her dad being a very rich person in that area, takes his daughter away.. telling that they are going to a temple.. In the mean time the hero is beat by some gundas and made to move away frm the city... he finds the girl coming opposite to her, as he leaves the city... she is married... he starts drinking and smoking further to it... Then, by the advice and kindness of his parents he starts looking for a job in Chennai.. There, another girl helps him out in getting him a job..she helps him come up in life..and teaches him self-confidence by her living.. now, the hero has grown well in his job......and is getting married ...
He comes to Kerala, to see that girl.. and finds her as a widow... her family is no more..and she is left alone with tears.. he wants to stop his marriage.. but his friend in Chennai, guides him that its all a part of life.. .. He goes ahead with her advice and marriage takes place.. he finds his lover and school age friend attending his marriage....
Pros & Cons:
The movie is not a fast moving entertainer, but really has an impact on everyone’s mind.. whoever watches the movie is sure to be taken to their school and college days... remembering their evergreen past... The picturisation, choreography and locations are tooooo goood..
The hero, is a down to earth person, which makes him one among all of us... He acts really well... and impresses everyone’s mind.. Its a very good movie and not to be missed by anyone...
