Beware: Automart India are cheats-

Come to understand that the name has been changed to first choice.  DO NOT EVEN GO NEAR THESE SHOPS

I got the CORSA , a second hand one, from a second hand dealer called AUTOMARTINDIA.   That was the day that I committed the biggest mistake.   Their marketing guy promising that the car would deliver magic.   In deed the car was very very good for a regular drive.   The real issue started when I took it

for   a longish drive( chennai to bangalore).   the Car was throwing violent vibrations which did not get arrested even when I did wheel balancing and alignment twice.   Thats done.

Came back to chennai, called up AUTOMART INDIA and told about this, they said that it is not possible and promised to check, and did nothing.

that done, 4 months after purchase of car, traveling in one of the busiest parts of the city, one of my rear tyre BURSTS, thank god I was traveling at 15 kmph, I was lucky and ALIVE.     Went back home after changing the tyre.   Went to a tyre centre, only to find that all other tyres were in a horrible condition as well

the shock did not end there, I was told that the vibrations were due to the very very poor condition of the wheels.   Effectively had to change the wheels and tyres, cost 25, 000   rupees.   Again called up the vendor, only to listen to excuses.   Thought of cooling a bit.

Then gave the car for a regular service with GM.   Shock again, they informed that two vital parts of the engine were nearing their end,   had to change them,   cost- 9000 Rupees.

Called up the vendor and blasted him.   Got a promise( turned out to be false) that the matter shall be taken up and suitable refund shall be made.

1.5 months hence, I get an answer that AUTOMART INDIA wants and evidence that the tyre had actually blown off, and that the condition of the car was really bad when I had bought it.

Where can I go for the evidence?   Buying a second hand from AUTOMART india did not just cost me 35000 Rupees, it nearly cost me my life and wasted 2 months of my time.   after all this, the organization wants evidence.

Conclusion

My personal suggestion would be not to go for any second hand car,   even if you go for one,   please do not go for a car from AUTOMART INDIA.   Here is a second hand car dealer, who does not check for the condition of the car, gives false promises for selling the car, wastes the customer’s time and does not bother an iota for the customer and questions the customer’s integrity by asking evidence for an incident which almost consumed his life
