Its quite simple. Forget about all that other BS, like which gives you more control, gas mileage etc.
What it comes down to is this.
People who are bad drivers, use automatics. These people are morons when it comes to common sense in driving. For example, the stupid teenage girls or moms who drive singing to music or talking on their cell phones. They’re always getting in the dumbest collisions, rolling stop signs, and cutting people off without noticing. Driving is irrelevant to them.
People who drive sticks(or have driven sticks for many years) are the best, smartest drivers on the road. Period. Don’t try to tell yourself otherwise, just think about it. People who drive manuals aren’t distracted, they’re constantly engaged with the car and road.
