When it comes to choosing between automatic and manual transmission, I would have to choose manual. Driving stick-shift is more fuel efficient, gives you total control of your gears, and is better for racing! There are many automatic transmission cars that aren’t gear-shifting efficient. Many cars have a’lag’ in-between gears where it doesn’t shift to the next gear immediately and thus slows down the performance of the car. I do have to say that driving manual is truly hard work when you are in traffic on a steep hill or if you are trying to parallel park on a steep hill. But learning to drive manual is all apart of the fun of driving. I personally have a manual 1996 Nissan Altima(mine’s pretty fixed up though) and I love to just cruise in it or race at the tracks. It’s good both ways!
