The MCU has gone on so long that it has defined many film audiences childhood and teenage years. It also coincided and became a part of the Disney company’s resurgence as a global production and distribution studio.You won’t find any cinema hall which shows Hollywood movies, without spotting a single Disney product,
Coming back to the movie, it’s great. It really gives emotional and believable endings to 4-5 characters, and sets-up the upcoming set of MCU movies. Many MCU movies had less emotions and acting than the usual drama movie, and that was understandable, since this genre is different and needs to be fast-paced. But this movie lingers on the sense of loss, rejuvenation and revenge much more than the previous MCU movies, so it gave it’s actors to showcase how they are more than green-screen products of perceived strength and super-power.
I went to watch when it came back the second time, so I was affected by the rave reviews I heard, both online and offline. This set my expectations, and I was a little disappointed. However, once I re-watched a few older MCU products, and I realised that this one is indeed as special as everyone claimed.It was relative.
Don’t expect it to be as good as the Dark Knight. But it is better than most super-hero movies.
