Unprofessional services : Proposal no NUP75610835

Very unpleasant experience. I applied for term insurance and at the time of selling policy they don’t give minute details but apply additional changes at later stage. My proposal form was filed by an agent. based on which policy was process. Medical test was scheduled by Aviva.


During medical test Aviva I provided parental  detail that my parents are 55+ and diabetic. Based on  this information my premium was increased by Rs 2700 saying that even though I am healthy but in future I may also get diabetic as my parents are. Now every one can understand that no one can be 100% healthy after 55 yr age.


I asked them my premium should be decided on my health not my parents and why this was not told to me while selling policy. They told me either go with increased premium or request for cancellation and If I go for cancellation  Rs. 2, 736/- as medical charges will be deducted. Again one more hidden change which was not told earlier.


And now I have cancelled the policy and asking then to provide invoice and bill detail for deductions. I am getting half baked answers and big delay in reply.


Aviva get professional, ur services are only good when u have to make new costumes but for old customers and resolution of query process is not professional at all.
